So all you budding in-the-shower singers or in-car crooners, come along to our recruitment night in Polperro Methodist Chapel on the 25th of June at 7.30pm and give it a go! It will be during our normal rehearsal night so it will be very informal with no audition, and you can be assured of a warm welcome. Afterwards, you can join the Wreckers having a pint and a singalong nearby! All abilities are welcome and there's no need to read music. You just need a passion for singing!

FREE CONCERT IN POLPERRO

7pm

As always during the summer, the choir will be 'at home' in Polperro for their famous free summer concerts on selected Wednesdays, helping to raise large sums of money for charity. The concerts will be in the open-air by Polperro Fish Quay or in Polperro Methodist Chapel if it's wet, cold or dark. The first is on Wednesday 2nd July at 7pm. The Wreckers will be singing and having fun nearby afterwards - just follow us. We love to entertain! (The painting is by June Drysdale from the cover of our best-selling LP in 1982.)

SINGING FOR LOOE RNLI

The choir will be singing in Looe RNLI boathouse at 7.30pm on Tuesday 8th July. The concert is FREE and seating is available. Having had a concert slightly delayed by a 'shout' in the past, we should remind you that all the concerts are subject to any necessary RNLI operational decisions and precautions. As the RNLI is one of our favourite charities, please help us support their essential service with a donation. We'll be singing there again on 5th August so we hope you'll come and join us. We love to entertain!

FREE CONCERT IN POLPERRO

Come and join us for one of our famous FREE concerts on Polperro quay on Wednesday 16th July at 7pm. We have a great mixture of songs for you this year, with some old favourites, some new ones, and some where you can sing along and help drown out the seagulls! We will be collecting for our charities of the year. If the weather is unkind to us, the concert will be in the Chapel which has been our home for motre than 100 years. After the concert, the Polperro Wreckers will be singing nearby at about 9.00pm. Just follow us!

IN LOOE FOR CARNIVAL WEEK

It's Looe carnival week so what better way to spend the Thursday evening of Looe Carnival week than listening to Polperro Fishermen's Choir singing a range of popular songs in Looe lifeboat house from 8pm, after the Looe Ukulele Extravaganza at 6.30pm. You'll enjoy a fun range of good music, the acoustics are great and seating is available. It's all FREE but - be warned! - there may be some very scary Lions around trying to blag some money from you! Come and join us. We love to entertain!

CONCERT IN LOOE RNLI BOATHOUSE

7.30pm

Polperro Fishermen's Choir will be presenting a concert for the RNLI in Looe boathouse on Tuesday 5th August at 7.30pm. We will be performing some newly-rehearsed songs plus some other familiar favourites. Seating is available and the concert is FREE with all donations going to the RNLI. We're proud to have raised many thousands of pounds for the RNLI in various locations around the country so please come and enjoy this concert and toss some money in the buckets if you can. Every donation large and small makes a difference.

AT HOME IN POLPERRO

In our 102nd year of singing, come and enjoy some open-air music with Polperro Fishermen's Choir at one of our famous free concerts on Polperro fish quay (or in the chapel if the weather is unkind.) As always we will be collecting for good causes chosen by the choir members, as well as our own music charity, so please toss some money in our collecting buckets if you enjoy this year's selection of songs. As if that's not enough, you can join us for a sing-along with the Wreckers afterwards. We love to entertain!

FREE POLPERRO CONCERT

The Choir will be giving another free concert at home in Polperro on Wednesday 27th August at 7pm. It might be in the open-air on the quay or in the chapel, depending on the weather, so please check our board by the chapel on the day. We're enjoying another busy year of singing and raising lots of money for charities and good causes but we couldn't do it without you, so thank you for your continued support, for coming to our concerts, and for your very generous donations. We hope to see you there.

The choir will be in Polperro Methodist Chapel at 7.30pm on Wednesday 3rd September for their last free 'at home' concert of the summer, following the tradition of most of the past 100 years to raise large sums for charity. The concert is FREE and we will be collecting for our nominated charities for the year as well as the choir's own music charity. Afterwards, the Wreckers will be singing nearby - just follow us!

HARVEST OF THE SEA IN LANSALLOS

Celebrate the Harvest of the Sea with us in St Ildierna's Church in Lansallos (PL13 2PX), a reminder of the days when the Polperro Fishermen's Choir was attracting huge congregations to Harvest of the Sea services around 100 years ago. Parking will be available in the National Trust car park some 250 yards up the road (free at that time of day) and the church toilets will be open. Come and join us for good singing, a taste of history and some sociable chat!

ST KEYNE AT CHRISTMAS

St Keyne Church is a lovely place for a concert, and we are really looking forward to singing there again this year to help get you in the Christmas spirit. CHRISTMAS CONCERT IN POLPERRO

At our last event of the year, we will be singing carols and songs at our famous Christmas concert in Polperro Methodist Chapel. Come and enjoy a lovely pre-Christmas evening which is FREE and open to everyone. Donations will be very welcome - they will be in aid of the lovely chapel, which has been our home for more than 100 years, since 1923.
